Who We Are

The East Side Phantoms are more than just a padel tennis team—we are a movement driven by passion, unity, and the pursuit of excellence on and off the court. Based in Pretoria, we were founded by Shameema Boots, Faheem Ismail, and Farhaan Sayanvala (known as Fudgie). From the start, our goal has been clear: to build a winning team while upholding integrity, sportsmanship, and community values.

Padel in South Africa is growing rapidly, and we are at the forefront of this expansion. Padel is more than a game—it’s a way to bring people together and inspire a new generation of athletes. Our journey is about growth, determination, and making an impact that lasts far beyond the court.
