Terry-Ann Hart: A Visionary Leader in Padel Life

Terry-Ann Hart: Driving Community Through Padel

Terry-Ann Hart is a leader in every sense of the word. As Director of The Square Table Group and Co-Owner of Padel Ball Life, she has built a career on pushing boundaries and creating innovative change. Now, she’s bringing that same passion and determination to the world of padel, where she’s on a mission to make the sport accessible to everyone.

At the heart of her journey is her seven-year-old daughter, Eva. Inspired by Eva’s excitement for the game, Terry-Ann has found new perspective and purpose through padel. Together, they are working to expand its reach—making sure communities across South Africa have the chance to experience everything the sport has to offer.

A Vision for Inclusion Through Sport

To Terry-Ann, padel isn’t just a game—it’s a way to bring people together, build relationships, and create opportunities.

“Padel is about more than just playing—it’s about building connections,” says Terry-Ann. “We want to make it possible for kids and families everywhere to take part, no matter their background.”

Through Padel Ball Life, she’s leading initiatives to bring the sport into underserved communities—creating spaces that foster positivity, inclusivity, and a sense of belonging.

Introducing the Padel & Pedal Xperience

One of Terry-Ann’s latest projects is the Padel & Pedal Xperience, an innovative event designed to bring people together through movement and play. Produced by Padel Ball Life, this experience blends the dynamic energy of padel with the thrill of a professional driving experience.

Aimed at executives from The Square Table Group and Vea RRM, this pilot event is just the beginning.

“This is about showing what’s possible when you combine creativity with community,” she explains. “It’s the first step in something much bigger.”

There are already plans to expand the experience to wider audiences, using it as a model for future community-driven events.

Eva Pretorius and the Kids in Padel Movement

At just seven years old, Eva Pretorius is already playing a vital role in growing the sport among young players. She’s the face of the Kids in Padel initiative, which will be spotlighted in the March issue of Padel Life magazine.

“Kids in Padel is about giving children a chance to be active and build friendships,” says Terry-Ann. “It’s something Eva feels strongly about because she’s seen how much fun the sport can be.”

With her natural energy and enthusiasm, Eva is inspiring other kids to put down their screens and pick up a racquet—proving that padel is for everyone.

The Bond Behind the Mission

This journey isn’t just about growing a sport—it’s personal.

“Padel has given us something we can enjoy together,” says Terry-Ann. “It’s more than a sport—it’s become a part of our family.”

That bond fuels Terry-Ann’s vision for Padel Ball Life: to build an inclusive space where people from all walks of life can come together, play, and create lasting connections.

Looking Ahead

With the Padel & Pedal Xperience coming up and the Kids in Padel feature on the way, Terry-Ann and Eva are just getting started. Their mission is clear: to open doors for youth, build strong communities, and make padel a sport that truly belongs to everyone.

For Terry-Ann, it’s not about grand gestures—it’s about meaningful actions that create real impact. And with Eva by her side, there’s no limit to what they can achieve.

Stay tuned as Padel Life continues to grow, inspiring more South Africans to join the movement—one game at a time
